How HoatzinHome Works
From neighborhood creation to a fully active community — here's how the whole system fits together.
The board sets up the neighborhood
An HOA board member signs up, creates a neighborhood (with its own slug and settings), and gets a join link they can share with residents. The whole setup takes under five minutes.
- Create your neighborhood with a name and custom URL
- Invite board members and assign admin roles
- Configure approval settings for new members
- Import existing residents via CSV

Residents sign up and get verified
Residents visit the join page, pick their neighborhood, and sign up with their email. They confirm their address so the board can verify they actually live there — then wait for approval.
- Browse and select their neighborhood from a list
- Create an account and confirm their street address
- Board receives a notification to review and approve
- Resident gets access once the board approves
Manage everything together
Once your neighborhood is live, the board has a full set of tools to keep things running smoothly — and residents have a place to stay informed and engaged.
- Map your CC&Rs into citeable rules with AI
- Issue violations that cite the exact rule
- Approve or deny pending member requests
- Share documents and a community vendor directory
- Keep a compliance audit trail for every violation
- Manage board roles and permissions
